It's random, but then again, that's the point."

Trend_Modern_Eclectic

I'm one of those people that loves crisp clean modern sensibilities, sometimes I like the space to feel totally antiseptic. But I also love the history of traditional pieces, the turned legs, the Bakelite color and I especially like the clutter of a well filled book shelf. I have been seeing alot of combo interiors. A little bit of modern sensibilities mixed with some of the furniture and details of the past. I am calling this modern eclectic, there is probably a more apt term out there. I think it's how you would classify my own home. Here are some examples of well done modern eclectic interiors.

Lots of things fill this space, but the space is all white keeping it modern.

Traditional fabric on a modern low sectional set against a shiny black floor. Looove it!

Again all white space with lots of art and playful combinations.

Vintage chairs, farm house inspired modern table and simple graphic photographs on the wall.

There is a whole lotta history in this image, George Nelson coat rack next to a movie light and an old cigarette dispenser.

You can't go wrong with a couple of eames chairs and a noguchi table.

Strong wall art on a graphic wall covering balanced with simple sofas.

Same space different angle.
