So what's happening right now in art...hmh..a movement to cover things up, a movement to make things our own, an attempt to comment on the harsh realities around us and perhaps soften them up a bit. I love these images of something I have been seeing alot of, hard objects covered in crochet. A tank is covered in pink threads, hard and secured steel is softened with a little wrap and the faces behind the cast are completely eliminated leaving the viewers with bold stripes and strong patterns.
