I spent the last weekend with my very fun and rambunxious nieces and nephews at Disneyland. After a day following them around I was convinced that more active spaces for children are needed. Kids have endless energy and curiousity. I found these projects afterward that I thought were a good alternative to the typical disney experience.
Here is a japanese playland made entirely of nets and bouncy walls. |
The best part of this playland is that kids play on top of the net too! |
Climbing walls in a school, a slide next to the stair. School is fun again! |
Jungle gyms don't have to be boring, why not a giant ant to climb on. |
