Dire Times With Dabs & Myla

We are HUGE fans of the artists Dabs & Myla. When deciding which artists we wanted to work with for the Dire Times Collection they were at the top of our list. Dabs & Myla are a husband and wife duo from Melbourne Australia currently living and working in Los Angeles California. Their work is a combination of character art inspired from 1950′s style cartoons contrasted by intricately detailed architecture renderings. They are recognized world wide for their street art and their gallery work. Personally what I like most about their work is how it makes me feel… “happy”. And as I’ve gotten to know them they too make me feel happy. I hope you to can get the same happiness from the t-shirt graphic they designed for the Dire Times Collection. Heres what they had to say about their design. “There’s something about the logo and character ‘Mr Peanut’ that is so fantastic. Mr Peanut ooozes the essence of a finer time, he’s such a class act and for this shirt design we wanted to bring the style and charm of him into the current day!” -Dabs & Myla.
