Attention to detail is the name of the game in this downtown eatery. Beautiful packaging, attentive service, pastries to die for and workers in white chef jackets. This is my favorite oasis downtown it feels like you have stepped into a french bakery in New York. It's simply fabulous. The food is divine. Here are some shots from my recent morning coffee with my friend. It's easy to get carried away with your ordering as my friend noted "It's like you have stepped into a utopia."

I took this shot at Subliminal Project in Echo Park. It's a framed photograph of a man covered in tattoos. I love the serious focus of the man. I don't know what's more intriguing the tattoos or the lines in his face.

I really don't get tired of the sunny days here. The smell of a city needing a good rain..yeah I get tired of that. But a picture only captures the beauty of the day, like this one. Going for a walk I looked over to see a perfectly blue sky with a steeple rising to meet it surrounded by lovely maintained greenery. Awesome.
